Jerry holds the distinguished Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation as well as the GRI title from the Graduate Real Estate Institute. Only 5% of realtors hold the CRS designation. To earn the CRS, a realtor must have significant experience and volume of real estate transactions and is required to maintain membership in the National Association of Realtors and abide by its strict Code of Ethics. To help make the home buying and selling process more rewarding, every CRS realtor must have a proven track record in the business as well as advanced education in related areas like finance, marketing, taxes, legal issues, technology and management. Jerry has lived in Hermosa Beach since 1969 but is a native of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, a small college town about 90 miles east of Minneapolis. Married with two children who have attended the Distinguished Hermosa and Manhattan Beach public schools, Jerry and his wife, Suzie, have participated in youth sporting activities and fundraising for the Hermosa Beach School District. Daughter, Annie, is an avid volleyball player and a member of one of the many local volleyball clubs. Son, Jeffrey, is a young ice hockey player. "Sports has been a great opportunity for the kids to have fun and learn the discipline and time management needed in life," says Jerry. Wife, Susan agrees, "It´s a huge time commitment, but we enjoy every minute we spend with our kids."
Suzie began working for Jerry in 1994, obtained a realtor´s license in 1999 and now works side-by-side coordinating and overseeing many of the details involved in real estate transactions. Suzie is a graduate of UCLA and has over 20 years of business experience in government, advertising and teaching. She also holds the GRI title. With a combined 34 years of experience between them, you can count on the Suzie and Jerry team for premium real estate services.
